The questions organizers actually ask
If your question is not here, write to us. We answer quickly and in detail.
Why choose you?
Because what we set up at your venue is a café, not a cart: a counter built on site, professional machines, real baristas on service and specialty coffee pulled to order. The whole menu is served with no cap, the team and the travel are included, and the price is on the grid before you even write to us.
What does it actually look like at the event?
A counter set up an hour before service. One to two baristas up to 30 guests, two and more beyond that. Espresso and milk-based drinks built one at a time, our three signatures, iced lattes, the aerocano, cold brew and single-origin filter. At teardown the space leaves as it was.
What is included in the price?
The full menu, with no number limit, for the agreed window: espresso and milk-based drinks, our signatures, iced lattes, cold brew, single-origin filter and decaf. The barista or baristas, the cart, the machines, the cups, the milks, the syrups and the homemade cold foam. Travel within Greater Montréal.
What is not included?
Two things. Printed personalization (event menu, cart signage or cups in your colours), on request, with a minimum of three weeks' notice. And travel beyond Greater Montréal, at a published rate by distance. Taxes are added to the displayed amount.
What coffee do you serve?
An espresso blend in the Italian tradition, chosen to stay round in the cup and hold up in milk. It is the same coffee at every event: that is why we chose it. The filter is a single-origin coffee, served black, with or without milk and sugar.
What are your signature drinks?
Three, and they have their own section on the menu. IL TIRAMISÙ, served hot: espresso, whole-milk microfoam, artisanal tiramisu syrup, artisanal cocoa and a savoiardi biscuit. IL MIELE, served iced: Mediterranean honey and fleur de sel, under a honey-infused homemade cold foam. LE DUBAÏ, hot or iced: pistachio syrup and artisanal chocolate sauce, crowned with crushed pistachios.
Does the price change with what people order?
No. No per-drink surcharge, no cap, no reduced version of the menu. The price depends on two things: how many guests and how long.
Does cold brew cost extra?
No, it is included like everything else, at no extra cost. The only difference is quantity: it steeps cold overnight before your event, so we prepare a fixed volume. It is served until it runs out, and the rest of the menu carries on as normal.
What does travel cost?
Nothing in Greater Montréal, meaning Montréal, Laval, the North Shore and the South Shore: it is already in the published price. Beyond that, a fixed amount applies by distance from Montréal: $45 up to 55 km, $75 from 55 to 70 km, $105 from 70 to 80 km and $145 past 80 km. A municipality outside that grid is quoted before you decide.
What do you need on site?
Roughly 2 m × 1 m for the cart, plus the baristas’ space behind it. A dedicated, accessible 120 V outlet nearby; depending on the setup, a second independent outlet may be needed. Step-free or elevator access, and parking or a loading area for setup and teardown.
Do you need a water hookup?
No. Our setup is fully self-contained: we bring our own drinking water and carry a waste-water recovery system. Nothing to arrange on your side.
What about an outdoor event?
We arrive with our own tent, which covers the station and protects the machines from sun as much as from a passing shower. We need a level, stable surface to set it up on. If high winds or a storm are forecast, we agree an indoor fallback spot with you beforehand. Just tell us it is outdoors in your request.
Is unlimited service really unlimited?
Yes, with no drink cap and no counter, for the whole agreed window. It is made by hand at our baristas’ pace: not unlimited event duration, and not instant production. If the rush is very concentrated, tell us and we size the team for it.
Do you serve decaf and oat milk?
Yes, both, included and marked on the menu so nobody has to ask. Decaf is available on every espresso drink. One honest note: decaf contains a small amount of residual caffeine, so we never present it as caffeine-free.
Does a request hold my date?
No, and we will never imply otherwise. A request reaches us, we check the date, the venue and capacity, then send you a detailed proposal. The date is held when the agreed deposit is paid, not before.
How far ahead should I book?
Two weeks, ideally. That is the notice that lets us confirm the venue, prepare your menu and schedule the team without rushing. If your date is sooner, write to us anyway: we accommodate shorter notice whenever we can, and we will tell you honestly whether it works. In high season, allow more, Saturdays from May to October and the two weeks before Christmas go first. Only one thing is not flexible: printed personalization needs three weeks' notice, because it goes to the printer.
How do I book?
In three steps. You get your estimate online without leaving any contact details. You send your request with the date, the venue and the guest count. We check availability and send you a detailed proposal, usually within 48 hours. The booking becomes firm when the deposit is paid, not before. No account to create, no mandatory phone call.
Deposit, balance and cancellation: how does it work?
A deposit confirms your date and takes it off the calendar. The balance is due before the event, on the date set out in your proposal. Until the deposit is paid the date stays available to someone else, and we will tell you if another request comes in for the same day. The exact deposit amount, the balance due date and the cancellation and rescheduling terms are all written out in full on the proposal you receive, before you commit to anything.
